By the looks of it, ya'll like food just as much as I do! Sweet. That means more food porn for you and more delicious treats for me. Luckily, hubby is as much into food as I am, so I think it works out for all of us!

I took these photos to show you how versatile the Mirtes can be. Here, I flipped the outer layer up which gives them a more combat boot feel yet still providing ventilation for my toesies like a sandal. I'm also wearing some leg warmers underneath (which I can't for the life of me remember where I got them from). I was going to cut the toes off a pair of socks but then realized that leg warmers would do just fine. If you pull them down almost to your toes, they act practically as socks. Yes, I'm one of those people who feels naked when sockless which is why I love the new sock and heel trend (will be trying out very soon). Plus, they keep your feet from blistering!

Anyway, back to the shoes. I love the idea of 2-in-1 items. The fact that you can change the look of these shoes only makes me love them more. On top of my interchangeable linings that I mentioned 2 posts ago, I think I'm going to start designing reversible apparel. Don't you wonder why more designers aren't doing it? Seriously, interchangeable and reversible items are the future...
