In true celebratory form, I was out and about for Houston's annual Pride Festival this Saturday. You can usually find me at the DUO party, which is thrown by the store's owner every year. It's got to be by far the best seat in town- open bar, shop til you drop til 11, and the parade passes right in front. What to wear on a night such as this? I decided to go with a versatile color palette of red, black, and white. Easy to accessorize and dress up or down depending on the mood. To complete the outfit, I incorporated one of my favorite pairs of sky high booties but stuck to a walkable chunky heel of course. After seeing a poor girl in wobbly stilettos fall flat on her face that night, it made me glad I thought twice about my shoe choice.
Oh dear! I've made ridiculous shoe choices like that before too.. Well done you for using your noggin and still managing to look lush too :) My you did party with a glamourous bunch! I've just been staring at that girl's sleeve in awe... ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
