Since taking these photos, the weather, unfortunately, has gotten a lot warmer. Once again, it was really nice while it lasted. No humidity. Just cool, crisp air with that constant faint smell of barbecue. A burning grill in cold weather is one of my favorite, comforting smells.
For our mild winters, it's always nice to have jackets that act like sweaters and vice versa. I've been in search of this lightweight jacket for awhile now and purchased it from a French seller for a third of the retail cost (see... patience does pay off!). The oversized fit and cozy wool and mohair blend make it the perfect piece of outerwear for the transitional season. I've been gravitating more towards blacks and grays lately, so adding a pop of color to break up the monotony only seemed appropriate.
A little Marc by Marc Jacobs usually does the trick!

That scarf really gives this outfit that punch!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think scarves makes perfect color accents! This one, in particular, has really added that extra something to my outfits.
DeleteStunning outfit, the color combination is fantastic! :)

Love the jacket - it's the perfect transitional piece. I get a bit stalkerish about things which I like and "miss" and sometimes it's great when you get them in the end for a bargain.
ReplyDeleteAll my wardrobe has taken a turn for the grey all of a sudden. There seems to be an element incorporated everyday somewhere. But it is such a great colour neutral. Still loving the hair!
I know exactly what you mean! I have a prioritized wishlist which I forget about most of the time. But once in awhile, I'll come across something I've been in search for.
DeleteI love greys because they're so easy to coordinate with especially with the rest of my wardobe. My favorite neutral color. Thank you on the hair! The growing out process is a test of patience!
That jacket is just gorgeous! It looks perfect on you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome score with the jacket Teresa! It really is a beautiful piece and I'm sure you're going to be wearing it a ton. Love it on you!

Gorgeous. What's the sizing like on the boots? I've been thinking of getting them but aren't sure whether to get the 38 or 39 (I'm a US 8).
ReplyDeleteI'm normally an 8.5 or 39 in boots, and I got the 39 which fits fine. However, I'm not able to put insoles in. If you wear a 38 in boots, I think the 38 would work and the 39 would be a little roomier but have space for insoles.
